CEBU X Chooses Mozcom

The Cebu International Furniture and Furnishings Exhibition, more commonly known as CEBU X, the biggest furniture exhibition in the country today again tapped Mozcom as its official Internet service provider.

Carrying the theme “Island of Treasure” Cebu X 2006 was held at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino and attracted foreign and local buyers to the three-day event. The show highlighted the Philippines finest furniture styles and designs from 109 exhibitors from Cebu, the National Capital Region and the provinces of Pampanga, Davao, Iloilo and Bacolod.

“It has been a good opportunity for Mozcom to support our furniture industry by being part of Cebu X for the past four years. It also gives us the chance to showcase Mozcom’s IP based solutions relevant to the many businesses today” said Michael Fernan, Mozcom Inc. VP VisMin Operations. Mozcom provided free broadband Internet access to the Cebu ‘X secretariat office, the exhibitor’s booths and the buyer’s lounge. Free VOIP calls were also available to participants and visitors.

The Mozcom booth featured leading edge finger print recognition technologies such as the Biometric Time Keeper Kiosk and the Net Secure Lite (NSL 210) - time keeping and access control systems. Also on display, was the Net Video DVR, an IP based appliance that replaces traditional closed circuit TV (CCTV) surveillance systems. The Net Video DVR allows managers to monitor their offices and factories over the Internet.
