Firm offers PC security solution with Net surfing booster, XP OS
By Internet safety solutions need not be budget-breaking.

This, as Pacific Internet (PacNet) launched PC Secure Plus, an “all-in-one” PC security solution that guarantees comprehensive and full protection as well as worry-free Internet surfing for all users.

PC Secure Plus is one of the first of many value-added services that Pacific Internet is introducing to the market this year. It is a complete and stand-alone software that offers Trend Micro PC-Cillin’s reliable Anti-virus Security, powerful Spyware Protection, Phishing Fraud Defense, Wi-fi Intrusion Detection, Improved Spam Filtering and Advanced Parental Controls.

Web accelerator

It also contains a one-year subscription to Speed Booster, a web accelerator that can increase surfing speeds five times, making browsing and emailing easier and faster.

“In today’s tech-savvy world, dangers on the Internet are also becoming more advanced requiring up-to-date protection that pirated software just can’t match,” said Robin Cui, PacNet consumer sales director. “With PC Secure Plus, clients would be able to get automatic real-time updates to ensure that their definitions are current, thereby minimizing exposure to threat.”

PacNet consumer marketing manager Joy Lantin said the solution contains Speed Booster, one of the firm’s products, and Microsoft Windows XP service pack 2 as added value for customers.

“These are all to guarantee enhanced Internet experience,” she added. (PR)
