Barrita: Mangaoang

Gipahunong ni Finance Secretary Margarito Teves ang lahugay sa 20 ka mga district collector sa Bureau of Customs nga maglakip unta ni Cebu Customs District Collector Ma. Lourdes Mangaoang.
Gipakita ning paglahugay unta nga dunay mga pulitikong di taga Sugbo nga gustong matangtang si Mangaoang.
Apan di makadawat niini si Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña. Matod niya, “I don’t like the idea of lobbying by people who are not from Cebu who endorse someone to come here. There are politicians who are not from here but seem to want to take control of the BOC, and I will not accept that.”

Karon nga nitingog na ang labing gamhanan nga mayor sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, malagpot pa kaha si Mangaoang gikan sa iyang puwesto?
Gawas kang Mayor Osmeña, gipaluyohan sab si Mangaoang sa mga magpapatigayon sa Sugbo ingon man nila ni Kongresista Antonio Cuenco, Raul del Mar ug Nerissa Soon-Ruiz.
Ang katingad-an mao si Kongresista Cuenco kay sa unahan namahayag sa iyang kahimangod kang Mangaoang kay wa gani tubaga niini ang iyang tawag sa telepono.
Pero, ngano kahang di man mamuhi si Mangaoang sa iyang puwesto?

Pabor si Kongresista Cuenco sa pag-usab sa atong Batakang-Balaod pinaagi sa constituent assembly imbis sa people’s initiative.
Giangkon ni Cuenco nga tinuod nga mas dali ang people’s initiative kon itandi sa constituent assembly apan hayan nga mosangpot kini sa kalangay kay wa pay enabling law alang niini.
“The constituent assembly may have the slower tempo compared to people’s initiative but it offers the better tune to dance the Cha-cha at this time,” matod pa ni Cuenco.
