C-load Prepaid Cable TV invades Cebu

C-Load Prepaid Cable TV was recently launched by SkyCable, the Biggest Show on Air in Pasil, Pardo and Talisay City last month.

This is a new service that allows customers to access cable programming at their convenience.

The introduction of C-Load also signals the onset of SkyCable’s plans to expand its services.

“Since early last year, we have been really looking forward to expanding our services, particularly in Cebu,” SkyCable General Manager Ronnie Pacio said. “Now, with the introduction of C-Load, SkyCable is taking that first step in realizing those plans.”

C-Load Prepaid Cable TV gives more flexibility to cable TV subscribers because they will be given more freedom to choose the programming package they want and the number of days they would like to watch cable TV. Unlike regular cable service where viewers are billed monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually, C-Load Prepaid Cable TV allows the customers to choose the number of days through the use of C-Load Prepaid Cards, which bear different loads corresponding to different numbers of days use (3 days, 15 days and 30 days).

Upon availing of this service, subscribers are issued a C-Load Kit, which consists of the use of an Addressable Box and the aforementioned C-Load Prepaid Card good for 15 days. The Addressable Box will then be installed to the TV set and then activation of the Prepaid Service begins.

"We really want the prepaid subscribers to enjoy the same quality of cable TV as regular cable service,” Pacio added.

C-Load Prepaid Cable TV is also available for the SUNCable package. C-Load Prepaid Cards are available at SKYCable offices and authorized dealers. For more information about the service, one may call the customer service hotline at 346-4255 to 61.
