Prepare Ye for Godspell

Little Boy Productions will present the Broadway musical Godspell as the culminating activity of the musical theater workshops taught by actor-director Michael Williams on April 30 at the Cenewof Theater.

The workshops were designed to teach students voice, dance and acting skills, give them performance experience, build a sense of accomplishment and, most of all, have fun. One of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway successes of all time, Godspell is based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew. Featuring a sparkling musical score by Stephen Schwartz, Godspell boasts a string of recognizable songs, led by the international hit, Day By Day. As the cast of actor-clowns makes its way through Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord to Bless The Lord, and other catchy songs, the audience gets to see the parables of Jesus Christ come humanly and hearteningly to life.

Godspell will be staged at 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at the Cenewof Theater, Marcelo Fernan Press Center , Ecotech Compound, Sudlon, Lahug.

Tickets at Php150 available at EastWest Café at the Ayala Entertainment Center. Please call 415-8338 or (0917)815-5794 for more information.
