Sally Mae Siso completed her amazing run in the 11th Gullas Tennis Cup by taking home two championship titles yesterday at the Cebu Country Club tennis courts.
Also a double-winner in the Philta-Tru Flex National Age Group Tennis Tournament at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center in Manila and the Atan Guardo Junior Tennis Cup, Siso bagged her first tiara in the Gullas Cup by beating Janice Cañete in the 12-Under Girls championship, 6-1, 6-0.
The University of San Carlos South Grade School student, who is sponsored by Dunlop and Osaka, then turned her attention to the 14-Under championship, where she disposed of Kristel Mae Buenacosa, 6-1, 6-2.

Macy Solon, a student of Dumaguete City’s Silliman University who is a member of the RP Girls team that will see action in the 2006 Junior Davis Cup regional qualifying tournament on May 7-13 in Bangkok, Thailand, proved her lofty billing as she cornered the championship in the 18-Under category with an easy 6-2, 6-3 romp over Cebu City’s Floresa Alesna.
Solon also put herself on the verge of winning two titles after securing a finals berth in the 16-Under via a 7-5, 6-1 victory over Siso’s older sister, Sallydine.
Solon will face Lovely Soquiño in today’s finals after the latter booted out Buenacosa, 6-4, 6-3, in the semis.
Boys division
In the Boys division, another Siso, Bernadine “Niño,” barged into the championship round in the 14-Under after defeating John Arnel Go, 6-2, 6-3, setting up a titular battle versus JB Canoy, a 4-6, 6-1, 10-6 winner over Christian John Cabahug.
The 10-Under Unisex division saw Dwight Largo and Christian Ugarte booking themselves a seat in the final round after kicking out separate semifinal foes yesterday.
Largo won over Tricia Mae Declaro, 6-1, 6-4, while Ugarte bested Lucas Reithmueller, 6-1, 6-4.
Jacob Lagman, who gave Cebu City a gold in Boys Singles in the recent Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association meet in Tagbilaran City, barged into the 12-Under finals with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Joel dela Torre.
He will meet Karlo Ledesma in the ultimate match after the latter sent Kim Ayuda packing, 6-2, 6-1.
Raymund Padigos and Kennex Abadia arranged a finals duel in the Boys 16-Under after beating Jomer Pavo, 7-5, 6-4, and Larry Antigua, 6-3, 3-6, 11-9, respectively.
James Carl Cañete gets a crack at the Boys 18-Under crown today after hurdling Maasin City’s Jedrick Tan, 6-3, 7-6, in the semifinals.
Cañete will battle Julrico Pagsiat, who bested Ryan Repunte, 6-3, 6-3.
