Wmc’s summer modeling workshop
To culminate their first summer workshop, Wafer Models and Concepts (WMC) presented two major events featuring its new batch of fresh faces.
On Saturday (April 8) at the Metro Ayala Activity Center and Sunday (April 9) at the Ayala Activity Center, 56 young graduates strutted their wares in an afternoon of fun and fashion. Guest models were WMC’s house models Katrina Miñoza—Ms. Cebu 2005, Kirsty Babor—Ms. Fame Philippines and Nikki Taylor—Ms. Teen Philippines 2nd Runner Up.
On its second set on April 18, for ten sessions, various topics were discussed and facilitated by subject matter experts sure to hone and bring out the best in every protégé. Runway Modeling was under WMC’s fashion director Marlon Garcia Wafer, master lens man Bob Lim covered Photography and Commercial Modeling, Hair and Make Up by artist Jingjing Manching and Power Dressing by one of Mega Magazine’s Most Stylish Women, Michelle Varron. Additional courses will also be covered like Public Speaking and Personality Development by personal-coach-to-beauty-queens Orly Cajegas and Table Manners dished out by internationally-trained hotelier Rycky Pilapil.
