Guardo annihilates Gahol
Team Guardo’s run-and-gun game paid off in a 69-39 win Wednesday night over Gahol in the Atan Guardo Cup Basketball Tournament at the Sitio Motra Basketball Court in Brgy. Tisa, Cebu City.
Andrian Satorre and Doding Tolentino executing the fastbreak plays of Team Guardo, which proved effective in the penultimate quarter, stretching the lead to 62-27.
Unstoppable
Satorre and Tolentino, who combined for 26 points, were unstoppable in the second half, giving huge defensive problems to Gahol, which couldn’t get its acts together.
In the other games, Simple Shooters defeated Hamtaro following a highly physical bout, 57-49, while Chicosan Warriors triumphed over Carubias after a see-saw battle, 51-42.
