Fashion show to cap training
FTV ModelSchool Philippines will stage a gala fashion show tonight to formally close the summer workshop program for its first batch of students.
The show, which will be held at the Ayala Activity Center at 7 p.m., will mark the runway debut of the model school’s students, who underwent the five-module modeling workshop under the mentorship of professionals in the local modeling and fashion business.
Jackie Aquino, FTV ModelSchool mentor, will direct the runway show, which will also feature the latest collections of Rustan’s and Nokia L’Amour.
Australia-born international fashion model and FTV producer Rebecca Piket will host the gala presentation.
Apart from the runway show, there will be an awarding of certificates to the workshop graduates during the culminating event.
Awards
FTV ModelSchool will also announce and hand out the Most Promising Model and Most Outstanding Team awards.
FTV ModelSchool mentors, Filipino supermodel Tweetie De Leon-Gonzales and stage director Daisy Baad, will grace the event.
Key officers from the FTV ModelSchool Philippines, Bigfoot and the International Academy of Film and Television, which holds the franchise to operate the FTV ModelSchool in the Philippines, are also expected to attend.
