New bank branch opens

SERVING the Cebuano community since the 1980s, Banco de Oro continues to expand as it recently celebrated the opening and blessing of its 12th branch, located at A.S. Fortuna St., Banilad.

The opening was well attended by Banco de Oro’s valued clients, who took part in the simple blessing ceremony.

“We offer banking convenience for our clients,” Jaime C. Yu, executive vice-president of Banco de Oro, said.

Like all the other branches, its services include opening new accounts, time deposit placements, and insurance.

“We’re very happy with the Cebu market and we know that we can do well here,” adds Yu. Banco de Oro plans to open more branches in Cebu, as long as the Cebu clients continue to show their support. (Cleofe Marie Faelnar, UP Masscom intern)
