STI to open 10 schools
STI, a leading provider of information and communications technology (ICT) and ICT-enabled education in the country, plans to open more high schools in the next five years.
Peter K. Fernandez, STI’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, said 10 more high schools will be opened in the next five years as part of STI’s expansion program.
This is in line with STI’s commitment to expand its network of schools.
STI has recently opened STI Academy-High School Department at STI College-Quezon Avenue, its third high school. By June, another STI high school will be opened at Cagayan de Oro City, bringing the number of STI high schools to four.
STI first branched out to secondary education in 2000 when it established its first high school department in BF Resort in Las Piñas. This was followed by another high school department in Rosario, Cavite.
STI boasts of an information and communications technology-enhanced curriculum. Starting as a computer school, STI managed to branch out by offering primary and secondary education as well as other college courses that include Nursing, Education, Business and Engineering.
