Know where to get tickets?

Pretty soon, tickets for all major events may be available from just one outlet: at Citickets. The people behind this enterprise – Bobot Ramos, Nick Torres and Snyder Su – saw the need for a one-stop ticket outlet like those in the US so there would be no more guessing game as to where to get tickets for concerts, pageants, plays or any other form of amusement.
According to Bobot, Citickets provides service for both the producer and the customer.For the producer, the cost of the ticket is a burden; it’s a cost Citickets provides for free. Also, the tickets are bar-coded so the problem of counterfeit tickets is eliminated, providing security for producer/organizer.
Citickets also provides the personnel and the barcoding scanner at the entrance. On top of that, Citickets provides marketing personnel for free for the event and also provides promotions for free over at RCTV and Channel 28; the Citickets booth is available for promotional materials and the event is also included in the Citickets web site.All this for a 10% service charge!
For the customer and event goer, Citickets makes it easier for him in selecting the best seats available on line. He will get to know what’s happening around Cebu and get information about events by checking these out through his cellphone. For Globe, dial 2278, and for Smart, 216, then type citickets-events.
Nick says the group not only handles concerts but also sporting and other entertaining events, but the focus is on wholesome entertainment, one that the whole family can watch and enjoy. Snyder adds that soon, it may just be possible to buy boat and plane tickets through Citickets. They’re working on that, as well as on getting payments through credit cards.
Bobot assures that for events, the number of tickets printed will only be for the number of seats available, no more excess tickets using extra monobloc chairs. No excess tickets either, as printing will be on demand.
The group feels it is time to have such a ticket outlet in the metropolis as there is at least one major entertainment of sporting event happening in Cebu a month. Each event where Citickets is a ticket outlet is a partnership between Citickets and the event producer/organizer.
Citickets, the business venture, is in partnership with Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino and the Citickets booth will be located at the Waterfront lobby, to be officially opened first week of May (though Citickets has already been handling shows like those of Leah Salonga and Gary V.).
