Experts set seminar for hospitality industry

Leading experts on hospitality, advertising, public relations and sales promotions are set to conduct a one-day seminar, “Effective Marketing in the Hospitality Industry,” on May 25 at Casino Filipino, Waterfront Hotel, Lahug in Cebu City.

The seminar is for managers and sales and marketing personnel of hotels, resorts, restaurants, shipping lines, shopping malls, department stores, spas, health clubs, entertainment centers and bars.

Spend wisely

Participants will learn how to spend wisely in advertising, getting the right market, improving market share, increasing sales and preparing a marketing plan suited for their business.

The set of speakers includes Marlinda Angbetic-Tan, executive editor of the Lifestyle Section of the Freeman, Adrian Zen Pastoriza, general manager and creative director of Campaigns Cebu, and Charles Lim, a graduate of Communication Studies from the University of Aston Birmingham and who has spent more than 35 years in the public relations, hotel, airline and tourism industries in Asia and Europe.

Registration

Registration is at P1,200, inclusive of meals and certificate.

The event is sponsored by Casino Filipino Waterfront Hotel and Skal International and is being supported by the Department of Tourism and Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Association of Cebu.
