Prima-Lacto leads Garcia bowling tilt
Prima-Lactopafi I grabbed the lead after the first day of the 2nd Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia Bowling Tournament at SM City Cebu bowling center.
Prima dropped 2,349 pins in the first round to edge Suplicio Lines for the number one spot in the team contest, which attracted 26 teams.
Cetba Juniors
Sulpicio scored 2,267, while Mint Shop took the third spot with 2,244.
The Junior team of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association, which is the host of the event, took the fourth spot with 2,233, just 21 pins ahead of fifth-placer Phone and Gadgets 1.
Others in the top 10 are Albert Surplus, which had 2,197, San Jose Men, which scored 2,178, Medical Specialist, which scored 2,163, and the Cetba Ladies, which scored 2,111.
After yesterday’s round, the tournament will resume for three more rounds.
Other teams the event are Mepz 3, Salve Regina, Rich Castup Men, San Jose Ladies, Good Hope, Prima-Lactopafi 2, Strike Force, Bola Int. PAL Boss Chilen 1, Prima-Lactopafi A, Cerge Team, San Remigio and Phone and Gadgets 2. (ML)
