RP Team keglers pace int’l. tourney
RP team A’s Jojo Canare rolled a two-game series of 480, while Elaine Florencio scored 454 for a total of 934 pinfalls Monday night to lead the Ladies Class O Doubles in the 35th PBC-Boysen International Open Tenpin Bowling Championships at the Green Valley Country Club lanes.
RP Team B’s Kathlynn Lopez (397) and Apple Posadas (490) tallied 887 for second followed by RP Team C’s Liza Clutario (452) and Cecilia Yap (414).
In Class A, PBAP-Bowlmart’s Lara Posadas and Angeli Lao combined for 800 to keep the Ladies lead, while PWBA’s Eve Lombos and Rory Villena tallied 770 and Prima’s Girlie Solis and Bong Coo had 705, for second and third, respectively.
Nilo Penado and Jack Interia combined for 854 to lead the men’s side. The pair of Benny Almazar and Steve Robles was second with 822, while Chucky Marcelo and Noli Angus placed third with a combined 808 pinfalls.
AMBA’s Marissa Olegario and Kris Valenzona lead Ladies Class B with 734, while MBA-Timberpro’s Ryan Romero and Allan Villanueva topped the men’s side with 869.
