Men’s football tourney draws 8 teams

Eight teams will battle it out in the Men's Open Ticgahon Champions League 2006, which opens tomorrow in Barangay Bangkal in Lapu-Lapu City.

The teams competing for the top plum are Abuno FC, Ticgahon Shooters, Mahayahay Kickers, Pajac Goalgetters, Tabor Hill Saints, San Roque Gunners, CSCST Sci-Tech and the San Roque 06 team.

The 7-a-side games will be played on Sundays, with venues shifting from Bangkal to Tabor Hill Mountain Stadium and the CSCST field.

The tournament, organized by FC Inter-Cebu, will run for four months. The final games will be slated in October. (MCB)
