Speak out: Michael Ray Aquino’s case By John Pala
Michael Ray Aquino’s admission of guilt may not have been difficult for him to decide on. It was simply a choice between 10 years or life imprisonment.
Such an admission is not something that can be done in our country by a former or current government official charged with a crime.
Michael’s case and its quick conclusion show us an example of the justice system in America, and how the ones responsible to carry it out do their job.
That country may have its own share of dirt but it certainly shows its dislike for filthy criminal minds and they do something about it. We can only dream for that kind in our country.
But we should not lose hope. Even if a number have died fighting for truth and justice, a number pick up from where they left, and fight on to get the job done—even if it means losing their lives too.
