Pinoy trader eyes Cebuano market for soap varieties

A Filipino businessman has brought to Cebu a line of soap products that have been developed by Filipino and German dermatologists in the United States.

Businessman Arthur Laceda said the Louvel Dermasoft line can address various skin problems.

“I am very optimistic that the effect (will be visible) after four days,” he said, adding that he has tried the products on himself.

Louvel Dermasoft is a brand of imported herbal soaps from the United States, which will be exclusively distributed by Dreamers World Enterprises, which is owned by Laceda.

The soap products are the result of five years of research in the US, he said. He added that the products have become popular in Europe and Canada.

The products are not only for women, but are also appropriate for use by men.

“Skin problems do not just affect women, but men too because everyone is concerned about their skin,” he said.

There are 16 varieties of Louvel herbal soaps, mostly with fruit flavors, which claim to treat various skin problems like irritation, dryness, oiliness, black heads and wrinkles while it “whitens and moisturizes” the skin.

“Use this twice a day and leave it for three to five minutes before rinsing for effective results,” Laceda said.

In an interview with Sun.Star Cebu, he said that before the month ends, the product would be introduced to the local market as he is still currently working on hiring distributors and wholesalers. (MMM)
