IT group to hold training
The Philippine National IT Standards Foundation (PhilNITS), together with the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) of Japan and AcrossGate Global Software, will conduct a training for 25 information technology (IT) professionals on Java programming.
PhilNITS president Maricor Akol said the training is meant to equip participants with skills in Java software development and increase the pool of IT professionals in Java programming.
The demand for software development using the Java language has been growing particularly from overseas and local Japanese companies.
Akol said there is a great demand for PhilNITS-certified IT professionals among Japanese companies operating in the Philippines and Japan. A PhilNITS-certified professional is assured of a working visa to Japan.
The training program, which will run from Aug. 14 to 25, would be using educational contents offered in Japan by 10art-ni Corp., which has an excellent development track record in Japan as system integrators with unparalled technical expertise. (PR)
