Bigby’s in Cebu turns 5
By Clint Fabiosa & Andrew Ong

Bigby’s Café’s service mark and logo are made up of a cup and saucer, a compass, and a three-stripe travel stamp.

The three-stripe travel stamp represents the three partners who conceived the restaurant as one that will allow its patrons to enjoy the best food tastes the world can offer.

Bigby’s Café allows one to travel gastronomically to different parts of the world—as signified by the compass, cup and saucer—with the international food selection in its menu. It also offers a unique twist to international cuisine to suit local taste buds.

One will truly marvel and delight at the interior look of the restaurant. Maps and memorabilia are scattered around to complete an ambiance of international travel.

But Bigby’s success does not only rely on its great tasting food. It has allowed the power of branding to bring it to higher heights of success.

By having the same restaurant theme, service marks, and logos in its five branches spread in Visayas and Mindanao, Bigby’s have allowed food lovers to recognize the mark as bearer of good food.

While it has continued to serve the Cebuano’s desire for good food for five years since Aug. 17, 2001, Bigby’s tries to surpass itself with the opening of its renovated restaurant today. Congratulations to Bigby’s!
