Mizuno Football Fiesta Cebu set

Mintsportshop, owned by Dr. Wendell and Colleen Villacin, the exclusive distributor of all Mizuno product lines, in cooperation with The Cebu Amateur Football Club, will hold the 2006 Mizuno Football Fiesta Cebu on Aug. 26 to 27 at the Sacred Heart School-Jesuits football field.

The 2006 Mizuno Football Fiesta Cebu has five elementary categories, three high school categories, and three senior categories (college/professionals).

Around 900 to 1,500 football athletes, constituting 90 to 150 teams, and 1,000 to 1,500 spectators hailing from all over Cebu, Dumaguete, San Carlos City, and possibly Cagayan de Oro City are expected to participate.

Mizuno is emerging as the brand of choice in the Philippines for serious athletes and sports enthusiasts alike. Though widely acclaimed for unparalleled innovations in golf technology, Mizuno has increasingly achieved distinction for their running, football and indoor badminton, tennis and futsal footwear.

Actualizing its corporate philosophy: “To contribute to society through the advancement of sports and quality sporting goods,” Mizuno is continuously strengthening efforts to advocate technologies, products, and the Mizuno brand in general through event sponsorships, tournaments, and grassroots activities/ clinics for the promotion and development of sports in the Philippines.
