Perpetual Succour holds blood letting

Perpetual Succour Hospital’s (PSH) Department of Laboratories together with its Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Departments has organized a blood letting at PSH’s Cebu Heart Institute main lobby this Saturday, September 9, starting at 8a.m. until 5p.m.

As a gesture of appreciation, PSH will offer the donors free screening for Hepatitis B and C, HIV, Syphilis and Malaria, including a free cash bond in the event that the donor or his next of kin is in need of blood transfusion and some other freebies.

Giving blood is a great thing to do. By making a blood donation, you are not only helping save the lives of people you will never meet; you’re also doing yourself a good turn. Giving blood is good for your body in that you stimulate your bone marrow to produce new cells.

For more information, one may call PSH’s Blood Bank at 233-8620 loc. 144 or PSH Care Mobile 0927-6504065 or access PSH Care E-mail pshcares@pshcebu.com.

Perpetual Succour Hospital is one of the country’s world-class and highly specialized healthcare systems. Owned and managed by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres, it is recognized for its compassionate and holistic patient care. Among its centers of excellence are the Cebu Heart Insitute, Cebu Cancer Institute, Kidney Service and the Advanced Rehabcare and Sports Medicine Centre.
