Black nabs 2nd win
After losing its first two games, Black pulled its second straight win in the on-going Barangay T. Padilla Basketball Association Commissioner’s Cup, Sunday, routing White, 87-73.
Black leaned on Rey Gonzaga, Pompee Nguyo and Pare dela Cruz on offense as it improved its standing to 2-2.
Gonzaga finished with 18 points, while Nguyo and dela Cruz added 16 and 14, respectively.
Allan Alegarbes led White with 15 points, while Paul Galleg added 14.
In the other games, Gray and Red nipped their respective rivals as both teams improved to 2-0.
The Gray team handed Navy Blue its first loss, 82-76, while the Red squad surprised the highly-favored Dark blue Tigers, 90-89.
Navy Blue is now 1-1, while the Kent Salvador-led Tigers dropped to 0-2.
Ronnie Orge led the Red team with 16 points, while Monching Canque added 12 points. (JAF)
