Danao hosts Airsoft
Fourteen teams, including two from out of town, will compete in the Danao Airsoft Competition dubbed “Operation Paltik” on Sept. 9 and 10 at the Cebu State College of Science and Technology-Cebu Institute of Technology School Ground in Sabang, Danao City.
The visiting teams, which will join the mock wars in Danao, are from Tacloban and Ormoc, while Cebu will be represented by 12 teams.
The 12 teams are Black Aces Club-Fisherman’s Net Restaurant, Cobra, Carmen Airsoft Special Team, Special Airsoft Action Team, Scorpion, Wolvez, Deep Recon, Mandaue Airsoft Group, HAS H20, Pacman Team PLDT, Rambo and Trident Knights.
Giovanni Sanchez of Team Diablo in Danao, the organizer of the event said they originally limited the field to only 12, but decided to expand it to 14 after the Leyte Alliance Teams of Tacloban and Ormoc sent feelers that they will participate.
“We will be very strict with the time since there are many teams participating,” Sanchez said. (JSV)
