Beauty, Health and Wellness Show to highlight seminars and fora
The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. and the Spa and Wellness Association of Cebu (SWAC) will highlight a series of seminars and fora during the 2nd Beauty, Health and Wellness Show 2006 this Saturday at SM City Cebu Trade Hall.
Dr. Viola Lhea Abella, a dermatologist of AIGS Mktg. Corp. will talk about luminglow, while Dr. Myra Vitorillo from Club Ultima will hold a seminar on mesotheraphy.
Meanwhile, Dr. Alfonso Wong of Wellspring Alternative Medical Center will tackle the latest cancer cure therapy. Dr. Wong, a well-renowned doctor in Hongkong, has developed a natural food supplement called Oncogen XP-180 Blastolyn.
Two health track seminars will be conducted: Biological Homeopathic by Dr. Allan Librando of Sacred Heart Hospital and Homeopathy and Chelation by Dr. Ana Zenia Aligno-Barril from the Biological Homeopathic Medical, Corp.–Cebu.
For the Wellness Track, Dr. Alfonso Lagaya will discuss the current strength of the spa industry and the great opportunity in the international arena. Dr. Joseph Leyson from Southwestern University will give a talk on Lifestyle, Preventive Health and Nutrition and SWAC president Johnie Lim will discuss the Salon and Spa Business.
On the last day of the show, there will be a vegetarian cooking demo and lecture on vegetarianism to be facilitated by Rene and Lalita Araneta of La! Veggie. “Hilot”: A traditional Philippine Massage will also be demonstrated by Victor Donayre, director of Phil. Holistic and Wellness Institute.
