Zoom Remit beats Agencia Minglanilla
ZOOM Remit handed Agencia Minglanilla its second defeat in the semifinal round following a 77-68 win in the Open Division of the 2006 Talisay City Mayor’s Cup Basketball Tournament held at the Talisay City Sports Complex last Tuesday evening.
Jinggo Custodio scored 10 points as Zoom Remit started hot early to erect a 23-13 lead at the end of the first quarter and protected it all the way to win seal the game.
Meanwhile, Baranggay Poblacion gave all they’ve got in the final quarter, pouring 32 points to drop the upset axe on defending champion Lagtang, with an 87-78 win.
Also, Cansojong rallied hard in the final half to beat Lawa-an III 82-69 in the SK Division semifinals.
