Speak out: Town politics
By Oscar F. Moreno

Don't look now, but Glenn Baricuatro may run for mayor in Pinamungajan town in next year's elections.

That is, if he succumbs to the clamor of political leaders and civic and business personalities for him to do so.

One of those urging him to run is former Regional Trial Court Judge Jose Soberano, Promdi's 2001 bet for town mayor. He described Glenn as "qualified for the position."

Opposition leaders should close ranks and unite to reduce Rep. Antonio Yapha's strength in his bailiwick.

They should not shoot each other first before turning their guns on the enemy.
