Green routs Blue, 67-46 for first win in PNP-Citom Basketball Tournament

THE Green Team finally barged into the win column after routing the Blue Team, 67-46, in the PNP Citom Basketball Association Inter-Color Tournament at the Cogon Ramos Sports Complex.

The triumvirate of Aldwin Raganas, Warren Martinez and Francis Mordeno combined for 41 points to lead the Green Team’s
offense.

Equal offense

The Green Team countered with an equally distributed offense as it went up tight in the defensive executions, converting errors to baskets.

Jun Baldago, the league’s commissioner, led the Blues with 11 points.

In the other game, White beat Orange, 63-50.

Julius Mongaya propelled White’s offense, while Manuel Mayor and Rechie Famador combined for 21 points to contribute for the victory.

Green team (67)––Raganas 16, Martinez 13, Mordeno F. 12, Ocampo 6, Sesante 6, Cavan 4, Agas 3, Restauro 3, Aninipoc 2, Najarila 2. Blue team (46)––Baldago 11, Engbino 8, Agujar 8, Gomez 7, Sereno 5, Inoc 3, Salinguhay 2, Laurente 2.

White team (63)––Mongaya 17, Mayorga 13, Famador 8, Remedio 8, Abella 7, Cartalla 4, Rafols 4, Lomotos 2. Orange team (50)––Yongco 12, Villalon 9, Jimelon 8, Bautista 7, Vidal 6, Cabreros 3, Tabasa 3, Daclan 2, Miñoza 2. (JAF)
