THERE is no stopping young rising tennister Vince Marc Tabo-tabo, who made another leap closer to the title as he advances to the quarterfinal round of the Dr. Pablo Olivarez Age Group and Open Tennis Tournament after in Parañaque City.
Despite nursing a fever, the nine year old from Tuburan Central Elementary School blanked Renzo de Ocampo, 8-0, yesterday at the Olivarez Courts.
Tabo-tabo, the smallest in the 10 and Under unisex draw, will have a tough opponent for his quarterfinal assignment—second seed Jurence Mendoza of Olongapo City.
The other weekend, Mendoza, defeated Tabo-tabo in the Milo Junior Tennis competition. Mendoza will be the country's representative in Malaysia this December. (MCB)
