I’ll make manny eat his words: morales

IT Seems Erik “El Terrible” Morales is not done yet with his verbal attacks against Manny Pacquiao.

Morales, who is training at the Otomi Mountains for the MP-EM III on Nov. 18, called Pacquiao a “braggart.”

"I think he is scared. He always boasts that he sent me to the hospital after the second fight but the truth is I went on my own to have my cuts treated.

Then, his people suggested we could weigh up to 132 pounds for the third fight. When I agreed, he backtracked. When we are face to face, he doesn’t say anything. But when my back is turned, he says a lot of things,” Morales said in a report posted at philboxing.com Morales reiterated his claim that Pacquiao didn’t “beat” him during their second fight.

"Pacquiao was lucky in our second fight. He was lucky that I got tired in the second half of the fight. I gave him a boxing lesson in the first few rounds and I was ahead on points after five rounds. Then I got tired and his luck started to change," said Morales, who suffered his first knockdown against Pacquiao.

Losing weight

Morales, who earlier said that his struggle to lose weight was the biggest factor in his loss, also said Pacquiao’s luck won’t be a factor in their third fight.

"His luck will run out because simply and honestly, I am the superior fighter. I am taller and better," he said.

For their part, Freddie Roach and the rest of Pacquiao’s camp earlier said they will go for a sixth round knockout against Morales. (ML)
