Monday, October 23, 2006 All-USC cast in Milo SBP, Pasarelle finals
THE University of San Carlos (USC) etched a record into the history book of the 17-year-old Milo Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training (Best) tournament after sending all of its into the finals in both the SBP and Paserelle divisions.
This assures that the crowns stay with the school, whatever happens in the two division wars.
This after USC South Campus (USC-SC) and USC North Campus (USC-NC) won in their respective semifinals matches the other day at the Don Bosco College gym.
“Whatever happens in the finals I am already a sure winner,” beams USC Basketball Coordinator Mike Reyes.
Finals cast
USC South completed an all-USC finals cast in the Paserelle division when it served the upset axe on defending champion Don Bosco College via a backdoor 50-47 win.
John Vincent Sepe slipped into the hero’s shoes when he dropped the crucial three-pointer, which tied the game for the first time at 45-all. Dominic Nazareno topscored for USC with 13 points. (MCB)
