Tuesday, October 24, 2006 DTI sets hearing on autogas standards
IN SUPPORT of the government’s autogas program, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will conduct a public consultation on the Technical Standards for the Autogas Industry and its related issues.
DTI’s Bureau of Product Standards coordinated with the Oil Industry Management and Energy Utilization Management Bureau of the Department of Energy, Land Transportation Office, the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) and the United States Agency for International Development-Energy and Clean Air Program for the said activity.
Topics
The seminar will tackle topics on auto-liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) dispensing station general requirements, automotive LPG components-containers, motor vehicles using LPG in their propulsion system and DOTC circular guidelines in the registration of auto-LPG.
The activity will be held at the audiovisual room of the University of San Carlos Main Campus, P. del Rosario St., Cebu City on Oct. 30 at 8 a.m.
Seats are limited, thus interested parties are advised to coordinate with the DTI office not later than Oct. 26. (MMM)
