Tuesday, October 31, 2006 Cebu music fest opens today
ALL roads lead to the New Cebu Coliseum today for the first Cebu Music Festival.
Around 10 bands will be performing starting at 2 p.m.
The Cebu Music Festival hopes to encourage Cebuano singers, composers, lyricists and musicians in the evangelical community to use their creativity in composing and performing Cebuano inspirational songs to inspire listeners and to ultimately glorify the Lord.
It will also showcase the potential of musically gifted believers in the Lord Jesus to present gospel music by leading the audience in singing praises and worship to the living God.
Cebu Music Festival is to bring together Christian churches in Danao City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, Cebu City, Talisay City and the other towns in Cebu to exalt the name of our God through the inspirational songs.
Music is the language of the soul. It is an art. It is an avenue to express oneself.
