Tuesday, October 31, 2006 Aroy to fight Juntillano for PBF crown
CEBUANO Alex Aroy will take a shot at the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) light flyweight title against North Cotabato native Dennis Juntillano on Nov. 22 in Maasin City gym.
The PBF 108lb belt was recently vacated by the former internationally ranked Wendyll Janiola, who won the title over Philipp Parcon last July 25 in Dapitan City.
Other bouts
Supporting the main event is former RP amateur boxing team member Jundee Maraon of Cotabato Province fighting veteran Lee Escobido for eight rounds, and Jun Ferando testing the mettle of Allan Dugan, also for eight rounds.
The curtain raisers include local boy Adonis Aguelo fighting Dondon Pangandoyon of Cebu City for four rounds, and Angelito Entia of Maasin City trading punches with Reggie Campuz of Cebu City also for four rounds.
