HP launches new printers for SMEs

TO ANSWER the needs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and help the sector become more efficient, Hewlett Packard (HP) is introducing a line of new printing and imaging products and services.

In a statement furnished to Sun.Star Cebu, HP said it has expanded its laser jet portfolio with two multifunction printers, one monochrome all-in-one, one-color and two-monochrome single-function laser jet printers.

“HP understands the unique needs of the SME customers and we deliver personalized experience to enhance their performance, regardless of their size and growth,” said HP business imaging and printing group director Janice Lim in a statement.

Among HP’s new line of printers is a new model that can print in both monochrome and color at eight pages per minute. It also allows users to send scanned documents directly to the desktop or e-mail address, to enable better management of paper-based content in digital formats.

The new line of printers is designed to deliver “high speed” productivity for small work-team environments requiring high quality document-intensive output and low maintenance, HP said. (MMM)
