A CEBU-based software development company has developed programs that empower people in the human resource (HR) department.
HRIS, which improves information capture, process automation and faster identification of problem areas and opportunities, allows HR departments to deliver “true and meaningful” benefits to the business.
“HRIS has functionalities that give management immediate access to human resource data that are significant to support its decisions,” Esprint Software said in a statement.
The program developed by Esprint seeks to free HR managers and personnel from their manual tasks, and “effectively deliver the results” with the use of and integration of various modules, the statement said.
Esprint, a sister company of IT hardware distributor Ng Khai Development Inc., is a developer of accounting, banking, payroll and related software. It offers solutions for all types of small and medium-sized companies and government institutions.
Esprint used to be a division of Ng Khai. It grew to become an independent company and now has different marketing focus, apart from several offices.
It aims to provide software solutions to the whole country through a pool of accountants, programmers, schools and computer resellers to help push its software solutions.
The HRIS modules include those for 201 employees’ file, benefits, daily time record (DTR) and payroll.
The 201 module manages reports on current and historical data of employees, such as employment status, education, employment background, skills, expertise and disciplinary actions received by each employee.
The benefits module manages data on employees’ benefits, such as leave monitoring and medicine allowances.
The DTR and payroll modules, on the other hand, create detailed data on attendance and saves payroll processing time by two-days per period.
Esprint Software distributes the program in Japan, the United States, Netherlands, Australia and Germany. (JBN)
