CEBU-grown Mactan Rock Industries Inc. (Mactan Rock) is now treating and recycling wastewater for two companies in Metro Manila.
Antonio Tompar, Mactan Rock president, said the water technology solutions-provider has just signed contracts with the Manila Golf Club and the De Los Santos Hospital.
He said Mactan Rock’s 20-year contract with Manila Golf Club involves a P16-million investment and a total revenue of about P110 million.
Under the contract, Mactan Rock will supply Manila Golf Club with some 2,000 cubic meters of treated wastewater, which will be used by the company for irrigation.
“We are already starting with the project. We hope to finish it by the first quarter of next year,” Tompar said.
Under the contract with De Los Santos Hospital, Tompar said Mactan Rock will supply 3,000 cubic meters of treated wastewater for 10 years.
Tompar said Mactan Rock will invest some P5 million for the said project. (JBN)
