Speak out: Mandaue opposition
By Nicolas C. Veloso

(This is addressed to former senator John Osmeña)

I am here to tell you all hope is not lost because there are grounds to believe that you still wield some influence over Cebu politics.

As a veteran politician, you have the knack of choosing candidates with a good chance of winning. You will do well bringing men of proven honesty and integrity in office.

I am confident you can find men of good caliber to compose the ticket that will act as catalyst against the present Mandaue city administration.
