Gray team beats White to snare 1st semis slot

THE Gray Team took the first semifinal seat after routing the White Team, 105-93, of the Barangay T. Padilla Basketball Association (BTBA) Sports Commissioner Cup at T. Padilla Sports Complex.

Danny de la Peña fired a game-high 29 points to lead the Gray Team, which got a boost from the offensive contributions of Noel Celestial and Bebot Ancet.

Gray never gave White a taste of a lead, to clinch the semis seat in division B.

In the curtain raiser, Orange demolished Violet, 112-89, to secure a semifinals seat in division A.

In the other game, Black Team buried Navy Blue, 110-77.
