Wednesday, November 29, 2006 Talk back: Water supply issue By Wilson T. Chua
(The letter is addressed to Sun.Star columnist Bobby Nalzaro)
This is in reaction to your column, “Alex Tolentino, again” that came out last Nov. 15, 2006 in Sun.Star Cebu. I am Wilson T. Chua, the estranged husband of Jennifer Griengo Chua.
I would like to clarify things that I know you have no knowledge about regarding the reason I asked the Metro Cebu Water District (MCWD) to cut off the water supply in the house where my wife now resides.
The main reason is the unpaid bills and this has affected my name as the connection is under my name. You can check this also with the Visayan Electric Co. (Veco) and PLDT.
Your claim that lawyer Alex Tolentino was behind the cutting off of the water supply is very wrong and baseless.
Admittedly, he is the lawyer and also the brother-in-law of my brother, Anthony Tan Chua, who handles the civil case against my wife, but he has nothing to do with my decision to cut off the MCWD water connection.
I hope this will clarify things and that you will stop accusing Alex Tolentino because it is very embarrassing on my part that he is accused of something because of me.
