Tax notes: Yahoo launches plan to tap Pinoy market

Effectivity of repeal on input cap

REPUBLIC Act 9361, which repeals the 70 percent value-added tax input cap has been published in the Malaya and Manila Times newspapers last Nov. 28, 2006. This would make the law effective 15 days hence, on Dec. 13.

The Bureau of Internal Revenue is already in the process of preparing the regulations to implement the law. (Source: Punongbayan & Araullo)
