CHARTER change remains a priority agenda of the Arroyo administration, days after the President and her allies at the House of Representatives backed down amid threats of massive street protests against amending the Constitution.

President Arroyo yesterday said that Charter change is a reality that the country, including its leaders, must face and accept, as it will ensure a better future for the Philippines.
