Pagnanawon tops 2nd race this mo.

BOY Pagnanawon won the weekly race of Recycle topping this month's second race of the Road Cyclist of the Month last Sunday at the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City.

Pagnanawon of Team Kalit kept his pace with the main pack in the 15-lap race but broke away in the final three to come unchallenged when he crossed the finish line.

Pagnanawon's teammate Ricky Ermitanio completed a 1-2 finish for Team Kalit when he finished the 36-kilometer race at second place. Richard Patalinghug of RUT Machine Shop took the third place diadem.

Fourth, fifth

Kalit's Junjun Canasa and Sparkleen's Roy Carbonera finished in fourth and fifth respectively.

For the individual standing for December, Ermitanio remains undaunted, maintaining the lead with an accumulated 40 points, earned from two races this month. Pagnanawon is 10 points behind and is currently at second place.

For the team standing, Kalit is still on top after its racers accumulated a total of 78 points from the two races.

It holds a confident lead over temporary second placer RUT Machine Shop, which has 57 points. Spark Kleen is at a distant third with 37.

The next race will be this Saturday before taking a breather for the holidays. The weekly races are sponsored by Spark Kleen Laundry Powder, Vellum, Glenn Rasco, Al Figer, Independent Fabrications and Pinoybikes.Com. (MCB)
