Friday, January 05, 2007 Sun.Star Foundation gives cheer to 40 kids
THE Sun.Star Outreach Foundation Inc. played Santa to 40 indigent children of Barangay San Antonio.
The children played games, like The Longest Line, Hit the Pot, Pabitin, among others, and were given Christmas gifts after the program at the Sun.Star roof deck.
Jollibee sponsored the food for the children while Cebu Ritz Flowers and Balloon Shop had a balloon twister to entertain the children.
Jed Calomarde, the foundation’s officer, coordinated with San Antonio Barangay Captain Daido Abcede and Gender and Development Coordinator Virginia Borlas to bring the kids to the newspaper’s office.
The staff from the Office of the Publisher, led by supervisor Logane Echaves as well as Cyril Bacalso and Rainier Magallon helped in making the party a success.
The foundation would also like to thank the officers and employees of Sun.Star who contributed for the activity.
