Atan Guardo scores win in X’mas league
TEAM Atan Guardo continued its winning ways in the Sambag I Christmas League basketball tournament as it scored another victory despite having only one player registering double digits the other day.
Totong Villanueva played a hero’s role for Atan Guardo as he almost single-handedly carried the fight for his teams and push it to a 58-35 victory over Tiangehan in the Juniors division.

Villanueva was the lone player of Atan Guardo to finish with a double digit score after tallying 22 points.
In the other game, Villa Teresita stamped its dominance early and maintained the momentum all throughout the game to blow away Angelus, 75-61, in the Seniors bracket.
