THIS is a reaction to the story, "Comendador replaces Gayotin" (Sun.Star Cebu, page A-31, Jan. 2, 2007).

A line in the story said that, "Comendador grew up in Corazon, Catmon."

Please be informed that Patrocinio Comendador Jr. is the son of Patrocinio Comendador Sr. and the late Rosa Aredidon, both residents of Barangay Bagatayam, Municipality of Sogod, Cebu.

He grew up in that place.

However, the younger Comendador is now living with his family in the Municipality of Catmon, the birthplace of his wife.
