AFTER 35 years of lack of belief, I have come to understand fully now the indisputable role of Blessed Mother Mary in the plan of salvation. No she is not a savior, but she carried the Savior of the world. Her person is inextricably linked with the Savior, from the beginning to eternity.
Lord Jesus Christ came into this world as Man through the virgin birth, this we know for sure from the Bible. Lord Jesus who is truly God became truly a Man because of Mother Mary.
The role of Mother Mary is essential in man’s salvation. The fact is that the human drops of blood that Jesus shed on Mt. Calvary is the same blood that runs in the veins of Mary. The mangled flesh of Jesus on the Cross is the bruised flesh of the grieving heart of Mary.
Virgin Mary has become a partaker of Divine holiness. When the WORD became flesh in her womb, every cell of Mary’s body became holy ground. She became a God-made tabernacle that enshrined the Word Incarnate.
This explains why Mary was virgin and has remained a virgin throughout her life on earth. Her spouse St. Joseph could have touched her sexually, as some claimed, but he did not, and he could not because Mother Mary, the Lord’s Mother, has became a divine treasure.
Anyone who doubts this truth will read in the Old Testament how Uzzah’s life ended when he touched, merely touched, the Man-made Tabernacle that contained the presence of God. He suffered instantaneous death when he dared touch, even with the noblest of intentions, the Ark as it leaned. (2 Samuel 6:3-11)
Mother Mary is more precious and holy than that ark of wood.
