February bowling title up for grabs today
THE top 20 qualifiers will gun for the Prima Cebu Tenpin Bowling Monthly Open as they dispute for the February crown this afternoon at the Gaisano Bowlingplex.
Bowlingplex Tenpin Association’s Alexis Sy, last month’s winners, will try to extend her dominance as she goes up against her fellow 2006 PBC Bowlers of the Year Jomar Jumapao of Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association and Kim Lao.
The three were named bowlers of the year in their respective divisions.
The will be challenging the other qualifiers Bel Suelto, William Lao, Junjun Gothong, Clark Tiu, Jacklynn Lim, Germaine Uang, Elaine Uy, Clarence Tiu, Ed Aniñon, Rocci Damole, Luther Tapaya, Jericho Jumapao, Edison Ho, Analily Lao, Ed San Jose, Michelle Lim, Bede Ilano.
Top 20 will play in an eight-game series with the bowler coming up with the most number of pinfalls and handicaps to be declared the Bowler of the Month. The top three winners will receive P3,000, P2,000 and P1,000 respectively.
The tournament is organized by Prima Cebu and Cifya and is sponsored by Edcon Glass and Aluminum. (MCB)
