Lactea on a roll
THE Lactea quintet continued its amazing roll in the Punta Princesa Sports Assocaition (PPSA)-Tribu Guardo Sinulog Cup basketball tournament, givng a 102-82 beating to Julies Bakeshop-Oslob Branch last Wednesday at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Sports Complex in Barangay Punta Princesa to take the solo leadership in the quarterfinal round.
Playing coach Jun Felicitas and former USP Panther Dodong Espinosa spearheaded Lactea's offensive attack, while the duo of Luther Magallano and Jongjong Zafra took charge of the suffocating defense that had the team dominating Julies from start to finish.

The win kept Lactea of team owner Atty. Raul Padilla atop the heap with a 4-1 card, while Julies of Roy Villaren dropped to 3-2.
In the other game, J&B stunned VSC, 103-98, in another lopsided game, which saw Rommel Hapin tallying a game-high 27 points and the tandem of Keith Arellano and Epon Nacua chipping in 20 apiece for J&B.
Reggie Licanda paced the losing VSC with 23 points, while former UC Webmaster, Rocky Bacalso added 18.
