A NEW board game is soon expected to take Cebu by storm, and hopefully, the entire country later.
The FAC Mind Race, a new game created by Cebuano patent lawyer Franklin Camasura, was introduced to the sports media last Thursday with the hope that it would capture the curiosity and interest of the Cebuanos.
The game is aimed towards those who are corporate-oriented people, who want to recreate corporate formations by playing the game.
“The main purpose of this game is to create a corporate structure from the highest members of the board down to the lowest rank-and-file. This started as just an exercise for my students in college but it gave me an idea to create a new mind game.
That’s where this Mind Race started,” stressed Camasura during the launching held at the Oh Grille at SM City.
Camasura is teaching Business Law at the University of Cebu (UC) Lapu-Lapu-Mandaue campus and is also a licensed Mechanical Engineer before he became a lawyer.
Like any other board game, the FAC (taken from Camasura’s initials) Mind Race is played by two players, who will make alternate moves to form a corporate structure composed of 10 levels. (RCM)
